Something to do on Wednesday Night

We hope that the tournament is going great for everyone.  We’ve passed the halfway point in games in both the East and the West which is kind of amazing.

In the West, you’ll have Wednesday night off as always.  If you haven’t had your share of baseball yet, head on over to the Diamondbacks game vs. the Texas Rangers.  The DBacks have been kind enough to offer some special USA Baseball rates via this flyer.  Enjoy.

In the East, Wednesday night is going to be USA Baseball night at Roger Dean Stadium for the Florida State League Game between the Palm Beach Cardinals and the visiting Sarasota Reds.  Normally this falls on the Friday of registration day, but due to the Florida State League All-Star Game this past weekend, there was oddly no game in the stadium that night.   Official game time is 7pm, but the stadium will be open at 5pm for us.  At about 5:20, we’ll begin the finals of the Home Run Derby on the stadium field.  Following are the three competitors:

  • Blake Viator from Live Oak Eagles with 5 HR
  • Daniel Vogelbach from Black and Gold Baseball with 3 HR
  • Dylan Butler from Baseball Factory with 2 HR

Teams were already provided with game tickets and food vouchers for all rostered players and coaches at registration, but parents and friends are encouraged to come, too.  Roger Dean has provided the following flyer (

for you to order friends and family tickets at a special price.  Good luck tomorrow, and we’d love to see you there.
